Funky formatting in Chrome. Screen cap of what I experienced
http://ia600806.us.archive.org/18/items/InternetArchiveNewVideoaudioPlayerFeedback/internet-archive-new-video-audio-player-feedback.jpg

When you first load the page, the player displays correctly, although the text (circled in red) does not. After you play a selection, it changes to the display shown in the screen cap. (Page shown is http://www.archive.org/details/The_Best_of_The_Borum_Grease_Corporation, but all pages seem to display similarly in Chrome on my system. Haven't tried other browsers.)

Thank you and best regards,
--Dave

ok, i've fixed the cosmetic issue of the text overlaying at bottom of the player, oops.

cant repro w/ chrome here (macos) the tracks vanishing for that item once play starts. are you win OS?

PS: thanks for your excellent report w/ the great screencap, too. the big crayon-y red made me smile 8-)

(hadn't heard a whole lot of comments on opera experience).

what kind of sharing might that entail, do you know -- the something like soundcloud?

well in fact if you put a link to a mp3 file facebook show a player, so that's it. Maybe in a future a link to the entire release and the cover of the album? but not really necessary, it is good this way!

Why can't I reply to a similar thread at http://archive.org/post/408575/new-video-audio-player-opt-in-is-live - I'm clicking on 'reply' and nothing happens.

Also, why is every audio track being duplicated in the player?

I'm using XP and Firefox 11, by the way.

Hi can you paste a link of an example item that doubles the playlist for you?
I should be able to try XP and FFox 11 later today...

Here's another with more tracks

I have noticed that some of their albums don't do this, so maybe the problem lies with the original upload not the player?

hey, these is a *great* little bug you've found.
i can see the issue -- it's in the "playlist assembly" part (not really the player per se)...
working on a fix...

hmm, these items actually seem pretty botched up...
they are showing "derivatives of derivatives" which was a buggy period
and we prevent that from happening now.

i'm fixing these 2 items (no code changes)
and will try to find out how prevalent this is and see if i can globally fix affected items...
